Elizabeth Boswell, LAPC
I earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences. I have experience working with ages 16-88 who are dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, major life transitions, LGBTQIA+ related concerns, and other significant experiences.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness techniques and psychodynamic techniques. I create a uniquely tailored therapy experience, with emphasis on identifying and harnessing your individual strengths and needs. I aim to provide my clients with concrete, valuable tools, as well as a greater understanding into their behaviors, thoughts, and emotions that contribute to self-defeating patterns, limiting beliefs and conflicted relationships. By providing a safe and open environment we’ll explore new ways of living that promote growth, self-compassion and confidence.
I find the therapeutic space to be a sacred one and I look forward to the privilege of learning your story and witnessing your growth.
