Haley Anthony, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University
of South Carolina Aiken and my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Augusta University. I completed internships in the Trauma Recovery Clinic at Charlie Norwood VAMC working with veterans and at East Central Regional Hospital working
with serious and persistent mental illness. Most recently, I have enjoyed working with adolescents and adults in private practice settings.

I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, cultures, religions, and sexual orientations. I practice with an individualized view of therapy and recognize that clients are shaped by their unique experiences. Because of this, I integrate techniques from various frameworks including CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and strength-based approaches. When working with youth, I take a collaborative approach to therapy and work alongside parents/caregivers to provide effective treatment.

I utilize research-based practices to treat mood and behavior
difficulties related to anxiety, depression, impulsivity, and anger.
When working with adults, I take an integrative approach to help
clients manage stress, strengthen their relationships, improve
self-esteem, and quality of life. I have experience helping adults
navigate difficulties related to anxiety, depression, and trauma.
My goal is to provide a safe space that fosters trust, empathy,
and understanding to support clients as they work through challenges and learn healthy coping skills.
