Veronica Ibanez, LAPC

Associate Professional Counselor

As a therapist, I value a strong therapeutic relationship as it fosters an open discussion throughout sessions. By creating a working relationship to understand where you are helps me to gear my trainings and techniques to help you grow and process life’s challenges.

I earned my Master’s degree from Augusta University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I completed my internship at Child Enrichment and provided therapy to children, teens, and families who experienced traumatic events in their lives.

I work with children ages 10 and up, teens, adults, families, and couples. I have been trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and enjoy utilizing CBT, Person-Centered Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I have taken trainings in the Gottman Method for couples counseling. I enjoy working with clients and families going through anxiety, grief, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions.

Outside of work I enjoy experiencing life with my family, spending time with my two cats, and reading. I have also recently grown a passion for making homemade pies and pasta!
