Caitlin Gilham, LPC, CPCS
I have experience working with adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other obstacles that life throws our way.
I earned my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia Southern University and received my undergraduate degree there as well. Over the years, I have worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, the school system, and private practice.
I am passionate about helping others and truly believe that having a good therapeutic relationship is important. I believe in being authentic and utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to help clients develop practical skills needed to cope with everyday life. While my therapeutic modality is predominantly person-centered, I am trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) which is used to treat anxiety and OCD, and I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I consider the client’s personality and preference throughout the process and want the client to feel safe and encouraged throughout the therapeutic journey.
